crossfit l1 & l2

My first CrossFit workout was while I was in the Navy in Pensacola Florida in October of 2011. My buddy had been trying to convince me to a workout with him for quite some time, and finally I agreed. I immediately fell in love with this style of training and went full boar from that point on.

I have been a Professional CrossFit Athlete for quite some time now. I have been the Fittest Man in Nevada for 5 years, been to 5 CrossFit Regionals, won international competitions, and competed in the Reebok CrossFit Games 4 times.

As much as I love being an athlete, I love being a coach even more. There is nothing else on this earth I would rather do than help people become the best versions of themselves and show them that the whole process of becoming fit can be FUN!

My very first CrossFit class was in may of 2013. It was a free Saturday community class back in Monterey, CA that I had talked my brother into going with me. We weren’t able to start our beginners course until a month or so later, so until then we would go into our garage and do our improvised CrossFit workouts with normal old gym weights. Using dumbbells, tires, and homemade wall balls we were grabbing workouts from the CrossFit main site. I’ve been in love with CrossFit ever since that very first awful, painful, wonderful CrossFit Monterrey community class workout.

I coach because I love taking fitness, which most consider a chore, and turning it into the best part of our members day. Through coaching, I get to be a part of this amazing community that supports, and pushes each other to be better all while having fun. I love it.
