Positively Affecting Lives Through Fitness


What is it?

The Cowboy Way is the first training program and community of its kind. Our mission is to provide an excellent training regimen as well as DONATE 20% OF OUR TOTAL INCOME BACK TO OUR MEMBERS!


the community and vision

As a long-time CrossFit Athlete, Sean knows how financially taxing training and competing can be. The vision with this program is to take 20% of our total income from the program as well as 100% of the funds donated through our monthly donation subscription and give back to our members.

The more our community grows, the more money we will be able to give back to you guys in the form of:

  • Travel expenses to competitions -including airfare, lodging, and competition fees

  • Training gear/equipment you may need that you don’t have access to at your gym

  • Seminars and educational courses

  • You name it, we want to help you with it!!

  • Training Camps- we will have yearly training camps/seminars that are 100% free of charge for our members. We don’t have a date pinned down for 2020 yet, but it will be at CrossFit Powerstroke in Fallon NV.

  • Facebook group- once you are a member of the Cowboy Way, you will be included in our Facebook group where you will be able to ask questions, link up and chat with other members, and access to helpful information regularly.


the program

Our program is designed for athletes of all levels. Whether you are relatively new to fitness and looking for some extra work or a seasoned athlete training for sanctionals, this program will help you become the best athlete you can be. The training is written by 3X CrossFit Games Athlete, the CrossFit Cowboy, Sean Sweeney.

We run a very well rounded program to further your abilities across all domains of fitness. The full daily training will take anywhere from 1.5 - 2.5 hours to get through depending on how much yappin you do in between pieces.

FULL CIABATTA OR A-LA-CARTE - each day will have a warm up and 1-3 pieces that is intended for everybody to hit, no matter the level of your fitness. Then there will be multiple other pieces labeled A,B,C,D,etc. that you can choose from or do all of depending on your fitness level / goals. If you are wanting to improve certain aspects of your fitness but not ready to handle the volume of the full program yet, then you should do the base program for that day, then choose the additional piece that has work for your specific goal. If you are a more seasoned athlete and can handle the higher volume, this program is meant for higher level athletes to be able to complete the full program each day.


what you get

When you sign up you will create a Wodify account you will use to be able to see your training, log your results which it will save for you as well as provide a community-wide leaderboard. You will be able to see everybody’s results, as well as like and comment on each other's performance results to positively build the Cowboy Way community.

  • In depth notes on each training piece explaining the intent of each workout, how it should feel, scaling options etc…

  • Program explanation videos will be released each block diving into detail exactly what we will be focusing in on each block.

  • Access to Youtube channel with movement demonstrations, tricks and tips, and more!


donations

We are very excited to be the first program with a business model centered around giving back to our members, but we can only do so with your help! 100% of our donation subscriptions as well as 20% of our income from membership dues will go to our donation fund to help support our members with expenses for competing, training gear, equipment and educational seminars/classes. If you would like to help us on our mission, you can sign up for a monthly subscription to donate $10, $15, or $20 dollars per month.
